Merry Christmas

I missed this yesterday, but wishing everyone the VERY BEST IN THE NEW YEAR!!!

Mr. FH has hip replacement surgery scheduled for Monday, Dec. 30. He has had to wait 3 weeks,
and he's more than ready to get this behind him. He's not very good at sitting around and he basically hasn't
been able to do much and if he does, he pays for it.
Prayers are welcome for a good outcome. He is 80 years old.

Give Jack my best, tell him to do his therapy as it's the fasted way to get healed up. Hip are much easier than knees to get going on.
I was referred to the specialist in January of 2019 saw him in June of 19 and waited until August of 2020 to get surgery.
Socialized medical care.

I will certainly do that, BMR and thank you!
Yeah, socialized medicine that many in the US think they want...but wait til they get it.
I don't think we need to worry much about that under President Trump.

BTW, how would you like Canada to be our 51st state? 😊

Well I'm not sure how our dollar and cattle market would handle the change.
If our dollar recovers quickly it's going to hurt as people have a ton of money invested in calves that could lose a lot of value if our dollar starts to rise.
We live close and cross the border often so probably would notice less change than many.
it would be crazy times for a while.

Certainly something to think about. Why is it the rancher has the potential to lose in these situations? I really doubt this would happen, Trump makes noise that works many times, without actually doing what he says. It sure works for him because he does mean business.
