Mike & Jigs

Jigs is unable to buy anything. He's still trying to raise bail money:

KSU's Norwood suspended after two arrests
BY JEFFREY MARTIN
The Wichita Eagle
Kansas State coach Ron Prince suspended Rashaad Norwood from the football program following the senior tight end's two arrests early Sunday morning by the Riley County Police Department.

"We have high standards that our players need to be held accountable to," Prince said in a statement. "Rashaad will be suspended and his overall standing with the program will be reassessed once the judicial system has run its course."

Norwood's first arrest occurred at 3:15 a.m. near the residence of Norwood's ex-girlfriend. He was charged with battery, criminal damage, criminal trespassing and obstruction of the legal process.

According to Lt. Kurt Moldrup, the ex-girlfriend called police about an unwanted person in her apartment. Norwood was knocking on windows and doors and repeatedly calling the woman, who was inside the apartment with a male friend. He then broke a sliding glass door with a chair to gain entry.

Once inside, he forced his way into a locked bedroom, confronting his ex-girlfriend and her friend. An argument ensued, and Norwood shoved his ex-girlfriend down on the bed. He ran when he learned police were responding. He refused to stop running when he was identified, but he was eventually apprehended.

He was released on $2,000 bond.

Police were called again at 6:15 a.m., back to the woman's apartment. According to Moldrup, Norwood was warned about not returning and threatened with further criminal charges. Norwood returned anyway, and the police arrested him a second time. He was released on $3,000 bond.

It was not Norwood's first brushes with the law while a Wildcat. In 2006, Norwood was arrested Sept. 17 by university police for disorderly conduct and obstruction of the legal process. Prince suspended Norwood, who led the team in catches through the first three games of the season, for the Wildcats' game against Louisville.

Norwood, 22, started 10 games last season, appearing in 12. He finished second on the team with 36 receptions for 358 yards.

K-State opens the season Sept. 1 at Auburn.

You know, Jigs, you would of saved a lot of people a lot of trouble, especially that fine upstanding young man, if you would of simply got out of the bedroom closet and had a little chat with him.

I told him I called the cops, and he was going to jail, so while I did his girlfriend, he was going to get some prison loving....... he disagreed, and replied that he was not into that type of sexual encounter, no matter how much the Auburn football team begged!

Mike and jigs would look handsome in blinking led glasses.......

I can see Mike in the sparkly pink hat....

They really do have a nice assortment. Do they have a shop on campus?

In Auburn all the junk is sold in the bookstore. Big bookstore.

Have you heard about the Alabama Criminal Tide?

All I got to say is its good the Jughead didn't have to come in front of me as a Judge-- being it involved a domestic/partner violence- where he shows back up again within 3 hours-- he'd still be sitting counting bars with No Bond...

If you get arrested here for a domestic offense you WILL sit behind bars for at least 24 hours.

That's what I hear anyway.

Yep-- Here you stay until you see the Judge-- which no way would be 3AM...Usually during the next working day...Has to be within 24 hours- altho on weekends you can hold a telephonic probable cause hearing and set bond on the phone- or decide there is enough probable cause to arrest and hold without bond until the next working day (which if picked up Friday night would be Monday)...Then if he posted bond he would have to sign a condition of release which would include no contact/attempt to contact with the victim/witness's...So his return would have not only been another crime (stalking) but Contempt of Court, (which upsets me )--and would probably still have him sitting in a 8 X 4 room.....
