I like the bales along the side of the pile. We don't do that but I think I'd feel safer if we did. We just tarped the last pile this morning before the wind kicks up so we are done with chopping too!!!!!!

that bale idea intriques me... Of course, not many use big squares around here (I think one custum guy might have one of the small krones) but sure looks like you get a bigger pile that way... Interesting..
