My 15 year old Registered cow. She weaned a 582lb calf last year and she weighted 1110 lbs. at 50.5 inches. I have to start considering her as broken mouth now.

To help with the point that Faster Horses made in the size reduction post, the cow above weaned a calf of 614 lb. 205 day weight.

And at 15 years of age she is weaning right at 55% of her body
weight. Wow, what a cow!!!!!!! The industry needs more like her.

Only trees around here are the ones someone planted. Otherwise the only trees I have for protection are the sliced ones :wink: I could think of better places to winter cows, but that's the hand I was dealt.
