movin' on, if you planted the same as your rye/wheat, you should have gotten similar resulting stands. I've been interested in triticale as a substitute for rye...my problem with rye is that it can't take saturated soils(not much of a problem the last couple of years)...I was hoping that the influence of the wheat would help it to be more tolerant of wet soils and still give the growth at cold temperatures.
