What M.U.D. means to your horse.

Mud….When looked at from a horses point of view.
1. It's great stuff to play in, paw at it and watch it fly. If you're a lucky horse you'll get good enough to direct the slop right on to your owner who shows you their delight with a nice gaaawww sound!
2. If you're a young horse and have not learned the mud toss game yet, you're not left out of the fun! You can still stomp in the puddles and coat your owner with mud's other main component water!
3. It makes a wonderful sucking sound when stepped in, if you step in the same spot repedliy this sound will increase, as will the massaging feel of the suction.
4. If you've seen reiners working and envied their moves…..envy no more mud makes any horse an instant sliding stop pro.( caution this move should not be tried near fences)
5. A horse's top reason for loving mud…it's the Most Ultimate Degrooming tool a horse has. Your owner will show you how much they enjoy you doing this by bringing you in, brushing, massaging, and otherwise removing all the mud, you may hear a few choice words but don't worry they are words of excitement( I'm not so sure what the big deal is people seem to pay big bucks for mud treatments all the time. We get it for free)

Mud to horse owners =
M- Most
U- Undesirable
D- Dirt

Enjoy Spring Everyone

Mud may be fun for most horses...but did anyone watch the rescue yesterday in Texas with that poor horse bogged down in the mud...?? I couldn't believe Fox news was reporting it, poor horse was there for hours, but last I saw, they had him out and he was standing...
