We caught up with them again at the water trough. I thought they would stay around for a while, but they headed back out into the flats. We had to hot-foot it about a mile to get in head of them.

We drove further along the Pony Express Trail, glassing as we went. We found twenty head about fifteen miles further out. Sagebrush and Hardpan,,, doesn't make very good graze. I sure don't know where they are watering.
