He has been used successfully at both Jamisons and Oleens. I was able to buy him as they had both used him a lot. I am pretty excited about what he can do for my herd. His daughters are tremendous.

Pretty nice, always good to buy after you can see the proof. He'd work well on some commercial blacks would'nt he.

He looks to know a few things about the beef business. I sure like his thickness, and his red pigment, you know where.

It is nice to buy a proven bull but using him on black cows might be a little overkill. I would way rather see his sons on black cows.

Unfortunately Hereford bulls like him aren't quite as common as Angus so he should/will see Hereford cows all his life and spread the genes a little wider than if he was with black cows.

we run a couple bulls from Chuck and Glen.hard to beat those two guys, no nonsence, honest, and really want to do what is best for YOU, not what is best for THEM.

good looking bull, I would be interested in some of his daughters....

Nice bull Doug! He looks like a big fellow. I figure the top of the Scotchman gate behind him must be 7' or better off the ground?

He is a big guy but I don't think that gate is quite 7 feet. I would guess it is about 6, maybe a little over.. As big as he is it is hard to belive how moderate his daughters are. Definately weigh under what the herd average is at Gordon Jamisons. He sure looks the part of an easy keeper and one of his daughters raised my pick of Gordons sale last year.

good luck on your sale doug - hope your getting a couple of those $1000/inch rains.

Thanks, I will take all the good luck I can get. It is raining here now. I have told people that a rain would be worth $10,000 an inch. We got our first inch and they are talking around that for this one. My guess is I would have took 1/2 of the yearlings home if we hadn't got any rain so there is a big smile on my face now.
