Well,
I got the title from a good friend who addresses everything to me with this title. Anyway, here's what MYT has been up to.
I been wokrin' my character over some and learning how to try and keep my doggone trap shut. Been goin' through some changes in my attitude. Mom and Dad are determined for me not to have that "teeny" attitude, and same goes for many of my mentors. Welp, I'll just say I've been whacked back into line once or twice, both verbally and physically, and I'm thankful for it, too.
I went out to PCC headquarters to help work about 100 bulls on this past Tuesday. I had a ball, got in some awesome judgin' practice, and got kicked in the knee.
All is well though, and Dad and I were happy we took off one day from our week to help out. I'll just put out the word that the bulls were grilled pretty good and if you see a bull in the sale catalog a score of 4-- or more for a certain trait, he's perty darn good in that area. If he's over a 4-- overall, he's one heck of bull all the way around. The overall quality of the bulls was excellent, especially for coming from so many herds.
I been trying to get my hands on that dern drivers permit. Well, 30 hours of study and some one-on-one driving lessons later, and I'll be there. Watch Out!!!! :shock:
Been steeping myself in Joel Salatin reading material and am getting some good ideas. Now that I got Mom and Dad reading them too, we're able to have some good conversations. I've also been working on my Bible savvy. Getting up early to get my chores done and then reading some before school has been my goal. I've gotten 'er once or twice, but I'm making slow yet steady improvement on my relationship with the Lord. Ya'll feel free to keep me accountable. I'd appreciate it.
Schools is going well, and yes, I'm done or I wouldn't be posting.
That's my life at the moment. I'll update ya'll next Friday again.
