National Championship

with the very few entertaining bowl games this season, I was expecting a hum drum affair.....I was pleasantly suprised with a very good game. played clean, down to the wire, and an instant classic!

Wonder how bad Newton was hurt? They said he had to go for x-rays on his back after the game.......................

It ended how I had anticipated. Defense wins..........................
 
I'm not much of a college football fan- and most bowl games aren't worth watching--but that was a good game...
Both teams played a great game- and Auburn won it...

Gotta give them ducks some credit tho-- any team that can wear those yellow socks can't be too bad... :wink: :lol:

But going in...who would have thought that both defenses would have any chance of holding the other to less than half their season average. Gotta love that #5 running back for picking up the slack when he was really needed.

Not me. I thought it would be a high scoring game, but the winner would hold the other when it counted. Which is what happened. Oregon was inside the 10 twice and came away with 3 points.

Dyer is gonna be a contender for sure. He did good as a true freshman this year.
 
Wonder how the fall out from the investigation will affect Auburn? It was a good game and both teams gave it a heck of an effort. I'd still like to think TCU is as good as either. But we'll never know. :roll: Congrats! :D

In 2004, Auburn got left out of the equation just the same as TCU did this year.

I know how you feel.

The investigation is over. Auburn and Cam were cleared by the NCAA.

There will still be those that talk about it though. As if I care. :wink:
