If Memphis wins, one local fella who's on a big Vegas pool board stands to win somewhere around $150,000 tonight...I think he'll still end up with close to $100,000 even if they lose- just for them getting this far...

Yep- I'd be headed for town for the party- except for the fact he's already in Vegas...Knowing he'd already won some big amount just for getting into the championship- and could win bigger - he headed there a couple of days ago to be there to collect his winnings...
 
Jiggsy...even though we had a good face to face yesterday evening, I gotta say I got $20 sez the 'Shuckers don't get beat in Manhattan AND Sandy don't get a wedgie next fall!!!

But let not your heart be troubled, Jiggsy......Maybe Jim Rose could be the next Voice of the Mildcats this next season!!!
 
Boy am I glad I never let gambling get in my blood...Yesterday while in town I found out that this local fellow won a total of about $175,000 on the Vegas pool and a couple instate boards- but that he figured he had about $40,000 bet on the tournament... :shock:

One time several years ago he got a loan for a new house he was buying- $40,000- that the bank stuck in his account until he could close the house deal the next week...Over the weekend he took the money and bet it on 2 football games- but luckily won....

I hate to lose even a $1 on a lottery ticket....
 
Jim Rose is an ash. I was so happy to see him off the radio.

I will listen to the Huskers now that Greg Sharp is the guy....he is a class act. hated to see the Cats lose him, or radio guy is patetic. he is still calling the runner at the 30, while the team is lining up for the point after attempt.

I will PROMISE you, if Sandycrack goes to that game with me, he WILL get a wedgie.

Loomix, you might just get an ATOMIC wedgie!!
