This morning I met a rancher neigbor in a 100 acre stubblefield. We were gonna run some hog traps we set, then head to town for fried burritos and coffee..our usual.
I mentioned I saw on the internet that a rich fella out in San Angelo,Tx had a whole bunch of mares, colts, riding horses and what not, all Poco Bueno, Doc Olena, the who's who of cutting horses in every pedigree. Seems he doesn't want them sent to killers and will take $500 each or less if you buy bulk.
Well I ask my neighbor, who has seen lean times lately," Would you mind loaning me about $20,000 so I could take a 30ft trailer out there and pick up these good horses?
He didn't hesitate. " Well sir I guess I could loan you $20,000, about as near as I could loan you $100 !!"
Well after the laughter died, we settled for those two burritos and our coffee....as usual.
