Last year about 10pm on Christmas eve I got a call from a Towing company to see if I could help out a vehicle in the ditch just up the road from us. They were 2 hours away so I could get there much quicker. Turns out it was a Customs officer from the Port of entry 20 miles east of us.
This morning at 7.30 I get a call from a young lady Customs Officer that hit the ditch just at the end of our lane. It was totally white from 4 inches of snow so it could have happened to anybody. I get her winched out and I think a tradition has been started. :D

They should pass you through customs with a wave........

I can always hope. :D

They are pretty good bunch, sometimes we have to break a new one in but the ones that have to drive the road past the ranch appreciate that we live where we do and they are always welcome if the new help.
