New Job Starts Tomorrow!

Well, I did it! I've quit Wal*Mart after 3 months, and start a new job tomorrow. I'll be a customer service rep for a leading phone company (not sure if I can mention the name here). 6 weeks of training (making $2.30 an hour more than Wal*Mart, and full time to boot!) then they turn me loose on my own (with another dollar an hour pay)!

Thursday, between paperwork and interview, I got to sit with one of the gals that's been there since they started here, and she was awesome! I only hope I can be that good someday......

Or the hatchery job comes through for me (another $1.37 an hour)!

So far, so good. Three days down and two to go, but at least the next two I can wear "my" clothes. I'm not used to dressing like a girl.... :lol: But I get to wear my jeans and boots the rest of the week. YEE HAW!!!!!!! :lol:

12 of us started the class together, we've had one quit already, but the other 11 of us are hangin in there, and it's getting easier every day. First day, the computers were bein uncooperative, and we couldn't do much, but they worked on them overnight, and yesterday they were much better. Today they were better still, so can hardly wait for tomorrow! :wink: They may be so fast I can't keep up with them.... :lol:

Actually, there's not a whole lot to learn, because everything is changing so fast......they just teach us how to find answers for people, and that way you just read new answers when something changes, instead of having to learn a whole other thing. Makes sense to me, but navigating some of those sites is a little taxing on my poor ole brain. :lol:
