Last night thunderstorms moved thru the area-- only got a sprinkle down on the river-- but over 1/2 an inch at the north place (along with some hail that came straight down) on the new seeded wheat-- and over an inch at the east pasture....

Today I went north fencing- and couldn't believe how nice the grass and wildflowers are.... Got hit by several little showers- but about 3PM it started pouring so I pulled up stakes.....Ended up with another .4 at the north place and .3 down on the river..

Looks like that storm should be hitting Big Muddy about now....

Weather boys have a 50% chance of the same tommorrow night- and a 70% chance of rain for Saturday :D

Sounds like ranch weather deluxe, and if you can, keep that Sat. rain up your way. Our area could use a whole week of farming weather this year, and we're just now one day into it...not to complain about the lack of drought or anything...
In the past 12 months we have doubled our precipitation for the century, so far, and we're about to start sharing some extra water. We'll trade straight across for some warm weather. Ranching weather, deluxe...

Been some good rain around here too, this keeps up might cut some hay this summer,if that ole rusted junk of mine will even work anymore been about 4 years since its seen any hay.
good luck

Dark clouds rolled in here and it started raining late in the evening.
This morning we have .55. Yippee!! We needed it.

i haven't checked yet, but i would guess thats about what we ended up with too.

We haven't had a measurable rainfall yet this spring, but we do have a heavy snowfall warning for tonight. Of course, that's a pretty easy call to make as it is the May long weekend
