Last fall a man came looking for work - - - I had nothing steady but I had a couple of things I needed done so I worked him when a job came up.
The guy can do about anything but he cannot follow directions. If you leave and tell him you want the shop cleaned while you are gone you will find he did a great job on washing the dump trucks but the shop will be in a worse mess than when you left.
Next day tell him thanks for cleaning the dump trucks but I need the shop cleaned today - - - "No problem boss I'll have it done" - - - you get back and the roadsides are mowed as well as the yard but the shop is in even more disarray.
Took him to a septic installation and he had never been in that type of work before but had to tell me how to do it ( In Indiana I have to take a one day class and a test and renew my license every year and I know how to do my job).
Everything I do is wrong and he knows how to do it better. I quit calling him. He came complaining his car was repoed and he wanted to buy my old S10 pick-up. I told him it was not for sale as I use it and I do not want to sell it. He comes back and if he could "borrow" the truck for 2 weeks he can get a job locally so I let him borrow it.

I keep calling and he will not answer, I leave voice messages he does not return, I leave text messages he does not respond to. Last week he had the truck for 3 months.
I went to his house and beat on the door. No answer so I took my spare key, everything in the truck that was not mine I sat on his porch.
Did I mention he took all the lettering off my truck and repainted it with spray cans? Did I also mention he could not get the bolts out of the tool box so he used pry bars to rip them thru the bottom? So much for that tool box. No more red nerf bars either!

Now he can call me back and tell me how terrible I am. He cannot believe I took "his" truck - - - how is he going to get to work now? I quit answering his calls so he sent me a text telling me he still has my key ring with the keys to the truck, dozer, back-hoe, skid steer and gravel pit and when he finds the truck he is taking it back.
If he is stupid enough to take it I will prosecute for grand theft auto. I spent $100.00 yesterday and got my signage back on the truck but the paint is peeling so bad I will have to strip it this winter and get the truck repainted. It does not look to bad from 25' away or more but don't get to close!
Some people you just can't help!
