It's been a week since I emailed Steve Dittmer of the AFF. I politely asked for the names of the Board and his staff members as suggested by Tam, I believe.

The first day or two, I assumed he was busy with work. Perhaps he had an executive board meeting to attend to. Or perhaps he was out of town courting sponsors for his group.

Then on the weekend, I assumed he would answer because I thought maybe, like most farmers in the midwest, he had another job to make ends meet and he would answer his AFF emails on the weekend.

But today, still no response. Maybe he is on vacation, recovering for the daily grind of typing out those editorials and then running them past the editorial board and his advisory staff. Maybe he is on sabbatical or perhaps overseas checking out foreign cattle ranchers to see how he can help North American producers become more efficient.

I will continue to keep you informed as to who the Board consists of as soon as Mr. Dittmer responds to my request. Until then, keep smiling. :D

You mean NONE of the staff has answered yet? SH is one of Dittmer's deciples, maybe he can get somebody  from the foundation  to answer.

chief, (who seems chiefly occupied with attempts to discredit those working to improve the cattle business for cattle producers) your "motto" comes up a bit short on facts, and has little relationship to "truth" as defined in the Readers Digest Great Encyclopedic dictionary: "conformity to fact or reality", "that which is true", a tendency or disposition to speak or tell only what is true; veracity", among others.

You miss the mark with your luidicrous comment about NCBA. You have no verifiable substance to your claims against NCBA, so you make a lame attempt to damage the organization with innuendo. If that is what it takes to make you feel like a real man, maybe we have to feel sorry for you.

MRJ, has the NCBA come out full guns asking for Congressional Hearings on what the heck allowed JoAnn Waterfield to run GIPSA the way she was?

Maybe you agree with the way she was running GIPSA.

Did you read the OIG report yet?

Stop waiving the pom poms and watch the game some.

I don't get it MRJ. I do what YOU TELL ME TO DO and you condemn me.
YOu take my signatures at the bottom of the page and make THAT your issue. It has been my signature for months, dearrie. Why pick on it NOW?

And PLEASE, don't feel sorry for me. I certainly don't want YOUR pity. Actually, I don't want ANYTHING from you. I dealt with "rah-rah" commodity group cheerleaders in the HOG industry here in Illinois. Now, there aren't enough hogs in this state to satisfy the Illinois Corn Growers, Illinois Farm Bureau, Illinois Pork Producers and Illinois Soybean Association. They say we need MORE hogs in this state to eat up the corn and beans we produce. WELL, guess which organizations promoted corporate control of hog production in our state. The same "rah-rah" cheerleaders who are now bitching about it.

So, MRJ, just go away. And IF and WHEN Mr. Dittmer of the AFF responds, I will let you and everyone else know just who works and supports his foundation. And IF he doesn't respond, I will share that news as well. And then we will know WHO is telling the truth and who needs the pity.

As always, when they can't refute what Dittmer states, they make a feeble attempt to discredit Dittmer himself. Same-O, Same-O from the "factually void" blamers.

Little Sandcheska took a run at Dittmer by trying to create the "ILLUSION" that Dittmer's statements about Consumer Federation of Amercia, Public Citizen, and Consumers Union (R-calf's BSE fear mongering cohorts) were statements about R-CULT themselves but that dog didn't hunt any better than all the rest of the muts that little Sandcheska turns out.

Robert Mac took a run at Dittmer by presenting Canadian cattle import information from a different time period than Dittmer had. LOL!

Almost feel sorry for the blamers at times. I can't imagine going through life creating "ILLUSIONS" because I didn't have the facts to back my position.

Quick, turn the radio on so Derry Brownfield and Johnny Smith can tell me what to think today. LOL!

Dittmer's comments about CU, Public Citizen, etc..... were in an article ABOUT R-CALF (big surprise, that's all the "foundation" writes about  ). You may not be bright enough to see how Dittmer was trying to connect them, but reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.

Maybe you can tell us in what time period Dittmer is talking about for those measly 80,000 lbs? Was it Jan. 1 - 15th?
