Neg 28 at 5:30 am 2/15/07 east of Gordon Ne. I knew I was too close to Canada when they had sidewalk sales in Gordon and the bank thermometer said 36 degrees.

I went outside in a tee and boxers just to feel what neg 28 was like - that kind of cold burns. Let's say I have a keener understanding of brass monkeys and well diggers.

You should come up here and see some of these native kids that are out there playing basketball on the outdoor courts/or walking to school when its 10-15 below with those baggy pants that start at the lower part of their crack and only go down to their knees...And it don't matter if the snow is 2 foot deep they're wearing whatever brand of tenny runner is the fad of the day...
