Not a bad day

Had 5 cows calve today and got 7 calves. The 2 that had twins just came in on friday night from St. Onge SD. They are pretty good size cows, prolly 1600, but are excellent mothers. Both had thier twins up and going in short order and do a great job at taking care of them. Thought it was kinda rare to have 2 sets of twins on the same day, really made my day!!!

Better be careful bragging like that. They used to hang the guy that had to many more calves then cows. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Wasn't bragging at all, just was a good change from the week before when that expensive heifer threw her calf bed and died!!

Seen the herd this afternoon. The freight bill on those bred cows just dropped a ways. Genex will confirm the parentage. If it's necessary.
