The NRA is currently running a special on their lifetime memberships. The cost is normally $1000. The special is running through the end of February and the price is reduced to $300. A special phone number is set up to get this deal. The number is 1-888-678-7894.
 
Nothing wrong with the NRA, but I prefer the "Gunowners Of America".

They don't constantly pester the heck out of you for more & more donations.

At one time, they were calling almost everyday wanting me to listen to a prerecorded message that took too much of my time.

I switched over and have never looked back............

I don't know anything about the "Gunowners of America"-- but definitely agree with what you said about the NRA... They are the worst for having a "new deal" they need money for- and are a pain in the arse with their phone calls....

rather be asked once a week for donations to the NRA, than get shafted consistently by the tax and spend brutha in the White House
 
Supposedly, by becoming a lifetime member, they don't send NEAR the junk/begger mail as otherwise. As to other organizations, I think they are great, but I also think we as gun owning Americans need to unite and fight for OUR RIGHTS. I know other organizations are in the fight, but the NRA is the leader in the fight.
