John Barry does a fine rendition of this song also. On the radio today, a lady by the name of Kris Wilson was the DJ. She told about being at the country music "FanFare" years ago somewhere in the sunny south during the summer time. A lady came up to John Barry with her deaf teen-aged son. She told John that he did the most beautiful version of O Holy Night that she had ever heard. She wondered if he could sing it and let her deaf son hold his hand on John's throat, so the deaf youngster could "hear" the song also. John Barry complied, and Ms. Wilson said there was not a dry eye anywhere amongst the several hundred people who watched John Barry sing O Holy Night on that hot summer day.
