[Soapweed]

Perched in the Polaris, I am observing everyone else as they work.

Sorting cows away from their calves

Kosmo Kid manning the gate

A board broke in the loading chute floor.

If enough of us watch

it will get fixed in no time. :wink:

The guy with the big grin is my neighbor who went after boards and repairing materials. The fix-it job worked very well.

Real nice calves. It's quite a feeling when they pull away. Your grateful for the paycheck but there is always a feeling like some of your friends are leaving. When you freeze, bleed, sweat, stay up all night and worry about raising them a little of you leaves on that truck too. Hope they weighed up nice and brought good money. Thanks for sharing.
