So they are removing wrestling from the Olympics
One of the oldest sports and they throw it out
Why don't they just quit the Olympics altogether

They said that people didn't watch it
Well you dumb axes if you don't broadcast it then no one can watch it
When they would have it they couldn't even cover a full match

But no they have to have table tennis sailing where the wind does the work and then all this synchronized crap along with dancing with those streamers just what the heck is so sporty about that. Maybe they could add synchronized paint drying along with synchronized farting. The idiots

Olympics were initially military skills competitions.

Now who would have thought a half naked woman and a limp wristed man dancing on skates would become an olympic sport?

And possibly soon to be added: Curling? Golfing?

Lets get back to where it should be.

Oops! Wait a minute - how much money can be made watching a couple of tough guys trying to mash each other into a mat?

Rack that up against a world wide population drooling over mr. limp wrists and his half naked babe dance partner.

Makes sense to me they are killing wrestling.

All you have to do is follow the money.

Of course, they could just give everyone that shows up a gold medal for participation. That would be more inline for our current world condition.




Remember when professionals couldn't compete because it tainted the games? Now it is purely about money? Doesn't that completely void the entire idea of the olympic games all together?

The worst part is Olympic wrestling is the very top of the sport. Not the same with others. Not to many golfers or tennis players would rather have a gold medal than win a major.
