Lazy Ace and I took a little trip to the Agribition and on the way home stopped to visit Big Muddy and Miss Tam.

The Canadian hospitality is second to none!!!!  We saw lots of good cattle, met lots of wonderful people and in general had a wonderful time.

I took a few pictures of Big Muddy's and Miss Tam's beautiful ranch and thought I'd share. The condition of their range after several years of drought shows their great range management.

Thanks for the tour BMR!

Guess we didn't break the camera!

Thanks again Canadians for all of your wonderful hospitality!

Cheers---

FH:

That is some great country BMR is in, and their management makes it look even better. They give a great tour that is filled with nice cows, good grass, beautiful scenery and a lot of history.

OT:

We were still in Canada when we took the photos!

There is the coolest optical illusion on their ranch. In several of the pics you'll see what looks like a huge lake. It is a lake, but now a dry lake. I am sure BMR wondered how many times he'd all but have to tell me that it was dry, because it sure doesn't look like it is.

I should add, we also met SSAP's husband and son and saw their good cattle at the Agribition. They are very nice folks and it was fun visiting with them, but hoping to meet SSAP too.

Cheers---

TTB

Nice pics TTB,Big muddys area looks alot like our river valley....interesting.

Maybe next year we should really consider visiting the agribition, esp when we're as close if not closer then you guys.

BTW did you find cowsence and get him to buy you a drink.

Good looking couple!!!!!!

It's nice for you to post these neat pics, TTB. You give credit where deserved and too many ranchers don't tout what they do so well...raise cattle and are stewards of the land :!:

Thanks so much for posting, and am glad you got to meet some very, very nice people and had a good time!

I'm sure glad you made time to stop. The visit was short but we can always do it again.

I think it was the photographer that made that last picture look so good.

Hope you had a safe trip home. The weather was pretty good for Agribition time. Seems to me it used to be a lot colder in the early days of the show.

TTB and Lazy Ace, sorry I missed meeting you. That's the biggest reason why I miss going - meeting new folks and catching up with those that I would only see there. The rest of the family gets to enjoy the face to face friendships but they bring home all the news to me - and meeting you folks was the second thing Don told me. The first was: "Are you sick or something?" . . . . (it was 10:30 and I was already in bed! )

For your next trip north, you're more than welcome to visit here. We're just little over a half an hour from the Port of Willow Creek (north of Havre).

Sure glad you enjoyed your trip and that the Canadian weather was pretty decent for you . . . !

Thanks for the pictures, TTB. That was quite a photo tour you gave us of Big Muddy's and Tam's ranch. The cattle look fat and sassy, the grass looks good and thick, and the countyside has much scenery and natural beauty to offer. You could have fooled me about the lake. There sure appears to be water in it.

Glad you and Lazy Ace had a fun trip to Agribition, and a safe trip back home. Thanks for posting.

BMR and I were very happy to have you stop by for a visit and he was glad to get a chance to give you a short tour of the ranch. I trust your trip home was uneventful and that you are now buzy getting all your Christmas decorations out. :santa: Take care and please do come back for a longer visit

Thanks for the picture tour TTB,big country for sure, and you and lazy ace are a fine looking couple..................good luck
PS you had big dummie on the right side of the camera
