Guilherme Marchi- the Brazilian thats been runner up for the title several years, just wrapped up winning the PBR World Championship- and a million dollars...Nobody can catch him now...
He has a chance tomorrow to be the first to ride 8 for 8 in the Finals- and win the Finals buckle and another 1/4 million dollars....

Quite a finale- Marchi drew Tom Teagues' Bones- and bucked off...Bones was chosen Bucking Bull of the Year and remains unridden... Another Brazilian Robson Palermo, won the Finals Bull Riding and $300,000....
Marchi won over $1.5 Million during his week in Vegas...

As an old bull rider, I tip my hat to all those boys! They sure make it look easy! Those Brazillian boys are sure sticky! Thanks for bringing up something we agree on Oldtimer! :wink: Hope we can always disagree with civility and remain friends. That goes for all of ya!

I never watched any of it.I used to watch all the time but anymore it's not all that exciteing to darn many 80 and 90 point rides.I can remember when a 90 point ride was a mojor feat.Now they need to have them so the fans don't feel cheated.It always amazes me how you can be one of the TOP riders and be getting bucked off at 5 seconds totally out of position and still score 90 points.The best saddle bronc ride I've ever seen was at the NWSS in denver some no name kid rode a top named NFR bronc and he did'nt get squat if he would have been Mortenson or an Etbaur the 90 point tune would have rang through out the building.Politics on every level of every sport has me soured on all of them.

I agree with you Denny. chris shivers got bucked off at 7 seconds hit the replay button and was given 90 or more points. Wasn't a real exciting finals, as Marchi had it pretty well wrapped up, but I really like to watch those good bulls like Bones buck.
