Sorry I missed a question you asked in the word game a couple of days back.
In answer, yes, I do my own C-sections. Also cancer eyes, prolapses, castrations etc.

Have been known for getting on the wrong side of the BC Vet Assn for doing successful C-sections on a cat and a Jack Russell terrier. :D

Not hard to get on the wrong side of many associations but I must say you tried pretty hard. :) :) I have a neighbor who does his own as well. We calve within 15 minutes of several bovine specializing vets. Haven't had to do one in many years so in the interest of the economy I hire on a vet. Thanks for the answer. The last we heard from you was when you were heading to a cow sale. Did the tooth heal up?

Both cases were either me or a hammer. Both cases it was suggested that the owner take the patient to the vet, neither had the money and I did the ops for the animals sake. Not a lot was said, but to keep myself out of trouble I will not touch another pet.
I'm very close friends with a vet that has prepped me over the phone when difficulties arise. Our nearest vet is over 200 miles away.
Took a couple of heiferettes to the sale, 1 was empty when tested and the other dumped a dead calf in Jan, they weighed 820 lbs and brought .80. They held the bred cow dispersal till I got there, bought another 20 cows.

I can still feel where my tooth was extracted, the torture specialist wants me to go back and get some more work done.
