photo printer

I've had Lexmark Printers for years, and really like the quality of the pictures when printed, but the Ink Cartridges for the Lexmarks are high dollar. So this last printer, I went with an HP, prints very good pictures and is easy to set up and operate. It's a printer/scanner, and cost somewhere around 80.00. Cartridges for it are affordable too and last a good while.

Lilly , I think she wants one that prints regular picture size (I think 5X7). They offer one through Kodak that does that and the picture cost is about 29cents . Will yours do something like that? Or mine? I have a HP laser printer and another color printer of some sort.

Actually you can buy the printers that the Kodak easyshare fits right on to. My new digital is the Kodak easyshare...awesome camera,my next purchase will be the printer. I bought my camera and they have the printers at Superstore{do you guys have superstore?} I can download mine and print them off our computer printer but the ones that go with ES camera are really nice...prints the 5 by7's right off.

You can set your printer to print on any size paper you can buy, if you buy 5x7 or 4x6 you go into settings and change it to what ever size paper you want. But it is more costly to buy the pre-sized paper. MIL does that, and it costs more for a package of 4x6 paper than it does for a huge package of 8.5x11...you can always print a smaller picture on the 8.5x11 your printer should also have an option to print on the whole sheet a photo package...1 5x7 2 3x5's, and a few wallets. Several settings on there to choose from on sizes of photos to print.

Mines a HP copy/scanner/printer HP F300 series. 2 ink cartridges for it only run about 28.00 for both.....the Lexmark was runnin 32.00 for black and 36.00 for the color one and they didnt last long.

We have an Epson Stylus Photo R300. you can print up to page size or down to regular size prints, down to wallets, whatever you want I'm not sure about ink cartridges, but the quality is excellent and you don't have developement costs

There are so many good photo printers out there now...I've been a Canon Fan when it comes to printers...All three of them are used for different stuff...One for just text..like cattle papers...My 2cd one I use for graphics and printing off internet...then my 3rd one is an actual photo printer which I use strictly for that purpose. I have had good luck with buying the ink cartridges for all my Canon printers off of EBAY...so it's real cheap to run all three. For my photo printer, I just ordered ink,,a six pack for 2.19 a cartridge. Now I probably print more pictures than the average person, so I do go through ink a little more...But any printer that you decide on should be what works for you and your camera...Good Luck!
