Green grass as soon as the snow melts, the ground never froze under the snow :)

Ran some bird dogs today, mainly seeing how hard going it would be for the horses, not bad.

We're melting, but we're a ways away from having bare ground on the bottoms, south slopes are pretty much brown, we had a small snow shower this afternoon, but melted as soon as it hit. Your pairs look great, awesome females Nicky! :D

Nice country. As a canuck I am a tad jealous. -20C this morning with a 70 mile an hour wind blowing our 2 feet of snow around.
This is the hi-way camera closest to our place.

It looks really good compared to west of us.

We're pretty well in whitout conditions here AGAIN today, hubby wants to run to Camrose but I hate HWY 13 on a good day... :?

We just ran 2000 yearlings through at the local sale barn in a whiteout-pretty nasty out there-it only took a couple hours to sell them thank god. Some really nice breeder quality heifers on offer today-my neighbor had 300 plus black heifers for sale today he was pretty happy. He sorted off the top 60 to breed to Lad-he won't sell me the baldie heifers though lol. I'm getting sick of winter...
