Looks like very desirable facilities, Sagebrush. Kind of a "no fuss, no muss" type of deal, with spacious stalls and clean natural bedding available at all times. I like it. :-)

Are you getting any of those good red calves on the ground yet? Looks like a mild week ahead for calving. Ride careful; the ground can be slick.

looks like a great place to calve to me
i had the same trouble with getting the pic's from the gallery to here
but i got alot of help from the folks on here and got it figured out
if i can help you let me know

Sandy rain has not been much of a problem here for 5 or 6 yrs..can't remember when we last had a wet spring. It is amazing to me how it will stay dry under those cedar trees after we get snow and rain and the ridges are all native hard grass so they dry off quick after a rain or snow.
Thanks for moving my pic Soapweed.. Calving is in full swing here. 2 yr old hfs. have been calving for 2 weeks and are about 60% done. Older cows started about a week ago and they are 20% done. We syncronized a group of cows and used them for recipent cows for embryo's they are calving good. Was a beautiful day to calve today.. 60+ degrees this afternoon.. sunny and no wind. Spent the afternoon horseback pairing out cows that had calved yesterday and last night. That is about as perfect a day as I get..riding a young horse working cattle on a beautiful calm day:)
