Seems like the fat is just melting off you.
I think I need to try your diet. Any tips?
The Atkins Diet works, and you still get to eat all the good stuff.
Back on January 13th, my six foot frame was trying to support 220 pounds. This morning, April 6th, the scale said 191 pounds.
When I go into the local cafe, my usual meal is cheeseburger steak, two fried eggs, and two pieces of bacon. Instead of using sugar in my iced tea, I now use Sweet and Low. Bread and other carbs are a no go. Squash and pumpkins work, along with butter and cream. Other milk products are not legal. (I do miss a big ol' glass of chocolate milk.) Green salad with Ranch Dressing works, and any other green leafy vegetables. I've cut out drinking all pop, and usually drink Chrystal Light soft drink mix (kind of like kool-aid). My favorite legal dessert is cheese cake made with Splenda.
My cholesterol count hasn't been checked lately. I do feel better, and can get on a horse more gracefully than before. Walking is easier, though I try not to do any more of that than necessary. Otherwise, why did God make horses? Occasionally I used to get a three-Ibuprofen headache. Since going on the diet and cutting out the sugar, this hasn't happened.
It is sure easier to lose weight by going on the Atkins Diet than it is to exercise.
