Not knowing where ya went...my guess would be the Black Hills of South Dakota...am I close? lol Whereever you were, sure is some pretty country....

Looks like the fossil beds @ Hot Springs to me...2nd guess would be Ash Fall in NE.

Yes. we went to the Black Hills. The pictures include the way down and the way back. Just figured maybe some of you might recognize some of the places :wink:

I'm voting number 14, 15, and 16 are around Medora, ND/Teddy Roosevelt National Park...am I anywhere close Randiliana?

#12 is in one of the caves in the Black Hills...after going in there lazy ace will never go in another one :roll: freaked him out...me, I really enjoyed it and would like to go in another one.

By the way, welcome home, and we look forward to more pics. I just might get a little vacation yet...through your camera :lol: ...

I'll leave everyone in suspense for a while....

We went through 2 caves, they were both awesome, and even the kids really enjoyed them. They would have liked to go through some more of them, but time did not permit.

Sorry, you aren't even close :wink: . We didn't travel through any of ND on this trip. As for #12, they probably came out of a cave, but that is not where they were when I took the picture. I will leave everyone in suspense for a while longer....

We really enjoyed the trip. We went through 2 caves down there and they were awesome, even the kids really enjoyed them. They wanted to go through some of the other caves as well, but we just didn't have enought time. Maybe next time....

#12 is a bunch amethyst geodes.....they're found from SD to Argentina.

I've got a HUGE one in the LR....it's a bugger to dust!

#15-- Must be the Spillway below Fort Peck Dam-- they once held the worlds longest bowling game there--altho many of the balls got to going so fast and bouncing that they broke apart before they got to the bottom :wink:
