pictures from the last few days

I just relax and think of my past brother he was a mechanic and a good one. He wouldn't fix as much as he would teach. He'd say relax look at it think about it and walla it would come to me. Last summer a few months after he passed away I was fixing something and having a time of it. When a calm came over me, well more like someone smacking me in the head saying RELAX, I did and the problem remedied itself.

Guys like you is what this country needs more than computer geeks and such. Someone who can raise his own food and repair things in a throw away world truly self reliant.

Cow's look like a real program not some fly by the seat of your pants operation. Nice to see someone with a direction.

your doing a great job.

Thanks, Denny! I appreciate it!

Yeah, that was fun replacing that stuff today! Just relax is some sound advice!!!...easy to forget! I had no idea what I was doing, but I can do it now. I just need to bleed the lines tomorrow and I should be good to go. Lots of firsts happening this year for me, that's for sure!

I have a vision of what I want my herds to look like down the road. I've made mistakes and I'll make more I'm sure. I have a lot to learn on making a good beef calf. It has been and is going to be a lot of fun!

I appreciate you mentioning it might be good to refinance! I kicked it around and talked to a bank. I will owe on my cows another 3 years, but I should have a pile more cows at the end of those 3 years than if I went free and clear now with the way I am set up and know my herd now....equaling more money at that time and it should even be better until then. With culling down so low and then doubling back already, it should be easy to build now.

Thanks again!
