More good pics Soapweed, you are starting to look dry, we are too, but it is hard to compare, you have grasses that we don't, we have some you don't. When a country is used to 40" and it only gets 30, it looks bad. When we are used to 12-15" and we get 8, we look bad so it is hard to say what is good and bad. I just always try to say it could be worse, look at what those guys got, that is why some people on the forum shine, positive people tend to attract me, negativity sours me at the barn.

We have had right at three inches of rain in the past three weeks. The country has made a dramatic turn-around, and so has my attitude. The pastures have probably revived more so than the hay meadows, but the whole countryside is once again green and pretty. That gives us eight inches of moisture so far for the year, and our annual average is about 17 inches. Things are looking up. :)

Great pictures as usual Soapweed. Been a lil sunburnin goin on around here too. Lil Lilly is sportin some red skin today ridin in a tank top. (Told her so LOL)
We have those white birds too, egrets. Most everyone calls em Tick Pickers around here, cuz they hang around the cows and eat bugs. Or in our case, one of the kids, I don't remember which, started callin em Pick Tickers, and they get called that more often than not.
Hmmm a prince incognito......you expectin more rain?

Great pictures, as always, soapweed!!! :D :D Hope Kozmo put some aloe vera on that burn!!! Makes me hurt just looking at it.....especially being the albino that I am!!  Glad to hear you are getting some moisture! Around here, moisture is always welcome, because when the wind blows (which is usually 24/7), it dries things up pretty fast. But, I am not gonna complain considering what situation others on this board are finding themselves in!!
Anyway, thanks for sharing!! Always a pleasure taking a tour with ya!!
:D :D :D :D
