Quote Hanta Yo : I'm having major stress getting pictures on here. Think I'll quit and go to bed.

I put some pics in the photo gallery tonight, thought you folks might find some of them worth conversation.

Someday the sand might fill the rathole and I'll get them where they're supposed to be. :???:

I know what you mean by pics frustration, whenever i try to post pics in gallery i get a JPG error code!! :???: Also can't figure out how to post multiple pics on the fourums? :???:

Oh no gcreekrch, you aren't quitting that easily! You're the reason I started posting photos :D Try these steps, and if they don't help, we'll keep helping until you get it figured out!

1. Open Photobucket.com account

2. Once in Photobucket, directly underneath "Images from my PC", change the sizing options to "Message Board 640x480".

3. Browse to find your photos

4. Upload your photos

5. Once your image(s) are uploaded to Photobucket, click on "IMG Code" underneath photo to copy.

6. Go back to your message in Ranchers.net

7. Paste the IMG Code link by pressing the ctrl and v key at the same time in your message. It won't show the photo, just a bunch of words/letters.

8. If you have another image to add, switch back to Photobucket and repeat steps 5-7. I don't know how to copy multiple photos from photobucket and transfer onto Ranchers.net all at once.

9. Preview message to see if it works.

There may be an easier way to do this, but this is what I figured out.

Okay, let's see some gcreekrch photos!

I'm waiting to hear the story about the grizzly attack.

Which one? I have a few more pics of kills on my digital camera and probably another 50 or so from my trusty old 35mm.
We are able to protect our own property ourselves but other than 1 case in 2003 (which I reported) we use the Cattle Assn predator mitigation guys. They are very effective at removing problems when they arise. I have been with them on every setup for grizzly they have responded to, I will post a few more pics for this. They use foot snares and under the rules they have to follow cannot use any bait but the actual carcass the bear killed. Makes it difficult but this method takes only the bear that is the criminal. They have taken 7 grizzlies out of the picture for us in the last 5 years. They have also taken an additional 6 or 8 bear and a lot of wolves out of the area for neighbors in the same time period.

Hey friend did you make sure there was no checkmark in the disable BBcode box?

This is why I like photobucket so much better, but this way one can see your pics. Did you resize them ? If you did photobucket may load them now.

Wow to the grizzly attack pics, theres an animal to be feared and reveared.

Beautiful rugged country, greg really liked your land,me too but I ain't movin there :P

Ok, so if you have a photobucket account and have your pictures uploaded there..... under the picture you want, left click on IMG code, then right click and click on copy. Then come here and right click then click on paste.

I have a feeling this spring we'll be having our share of grizzly troubles too.
Good luck.

Well, if it works for you that's great. There's some pretty hard feelings up here about them, not so much from their abilities as their politics. (Although I've hunted and trapped plenty in my time and never found it particularily mattered which side of a tree I walked on)
We finally got our backs up up here and got the service we wanted and now we too are well looked after.
