What's the excuse this week, Jiggsy?

After being able to run the ball at will all day, basically having the game won, your "legendary" coach sure had a brain fart by calling that pass play so Okie State could get the pick and the win. This loss falls right at Snyder's feet.

Maybe Jigs has been right all along....all the MildCats can do is have hope for the future.

I have no answer..... best guess, they knew we would run run run, so tried to catch them off balance and throw???? sams had 20 yards of open field...why not run? we had a few shots to win it, just like the Texas game, and blew it.... lack of leadership on the field, and young mistakes.... this loss is on the coach in my opinion.

bad news is....Baylor is next. look for Baylor to be in the national title picture

Baylor does have a good team. KS can beat them but it will be tough. Ya think?

I only got to see the highlights of the KS vs OKState game. ALL ESPN would broadcast were SEC games. PO'ed............

Huskers actually looked better without Martinez.

On another note, I watched some of the OSU vs Northwestern game last night. If those are the two best in the Big 10 they are in a world of trouble.

Looked a lot like a high school game............

Pretty good but mercy until they played WV all that had played was little Div 2 or 3 schools.

I don't know ...the way they're scoring so many points I think they're better than what people think. I dread our game coming up with them in Waco.

they are GOOD. they don't have the name OU or TEXAS, so they get overlooked in the Big 12...media don't have a clue, if you are not a "name school" from the good ole boys club, you wont climb the ranks till you beat a few of the teams in that group..... Baylor vs Bama would be interesting, and Baylor vs Oregon would be a fun one to watch

I agree Baylor vs Oregon would be an awesome game. I've also been thinking about whether Bama could shut down either one of these teams?

Nope. Bama will probably lose a couple before the season is over. Georgia & LSU are probably on par with any other teams in the nation. Bama just barely squeaked by Texas A&M and T A&M don't have nearly the defense they had last year.

Stanford & Clemson the real deal along with maybe Florida State.

Going to be interesting to see how this year turns out. The offenses in every conference have improved past any defense in the nation.

No doubt they have put up loads of points and have tons of speed and talent everywhere but OU if anybody should have the defense to at least slow them down and match them TD for TD. They haven't stopped anybody yet either.

I am not sold on OU being all that yet this year..... Stoops is fast becoming Mack Brown... has a big billing as a super coach, but not really producing lately...

Now what, Jiggsy? You guys played the hell out of Baylor, and SHOULD have won that game. Baylor did all they could to give it to you, but missed chip shot field goals and some poor play calling sealed your fate once again.

I'll take being a mid pack team in the third best conference (?) any day over being the 9th place team in the fourth best conference. Mack Brown managed to exorcise his 2 demons (KSU and Oklahoma) this year.

I listened to this game on the radio. Sounded like KSU had their chances. One thing I can't understand no matter who does it is the two qb system. It seems the that's the one position that you kind of need to get a little rythem going I just don't see how they can do that going in and out.

a few things stand out to me... we really miss out top 2 receivers, hope they are back next week.... pick a QB, and go with him..this two man deal irritates me... holding a team that scores 70 points to 35 is a good defense! last three games have been winnable games. rather get blown out than give away a close game.

the year is still salvageable. I still love my Cats, and I thank the Lord everyday I am not a husker.

Listening to the KSU broadcast it's comical how much they kiss bill snyders a$$. The call in show some guy called in and made some good points and they totally dismiss the guys call. Kind of even laughed at him.

Vain thanks, Jigs. You were born a Husker, and will be a Husker forever, even in death. You may not like it, and you can renounce being a Husker all you want, but you can never change where your place of birth is on your birth certificate. Accept it. If you can't, take it up with your mother.

I disagree, only thing husker about me is what I flush down the toilet... too much pride in KSU to ever cheer for NU....Huck the Fuskers
