Pitbulls and halloween

Its been in our local newspaper and I will go try to find a link.... but there is a nationwide call to harm pit bulls on halloween.... for those that worship the underworld its a blood sacrifice day....

Snopes.com is trying to say its a hoax.... but one may just want to make sure their dog is safe....
