Had company for coffee this afternoon. Soapweed's dad Bob, his sister Cybil and JF Ranch's dad and sister stopped in on their way home from a visit to Rockglen Sask. It was a short visit but a very enjoyable one. We were just done processing some cows and just started the calves and ready for a cup of coffee so the timing couldn't have been better.
Soapweed, don't expect them home real quick cause they weren't making very good time to day.

Glad to hear something of BobM and Cybil traipsing around the world as haven't seen any posts for a long time from BobM.

Big Muddy, thanks for entertaining my dad and sister, and Dad's cousin and his daughter. Hope they didn't interrupt your cattle working too badly. They had gone to Rockglen, to visit family and to participate in the Canadian Thanksgiving. Your western hospitality was appreciated.

We enjoyed having them and if they are ever in our area again they are sure welcome to stop by for another visit. Maybe the next time they can stay longer and we can tour them through the ranch. Say Hi to all of them for us and tell your sister I pity her work situation but better her than me.

I've always kind of envied her "work situation". She not only has "banker's hours" on her work days, but gets quite a bit of time off. She has to use up this time off, or she loses it. With no husband or kids to demand any of her time, it seems like she leads a pretty good life and gets to do a lot of traveling.

By the way, Tam, thanks for being hospitable to these wayfaring strangers. They very much enjoyed their visit with you.

That's neat that they got to make a trip up North, hope the weather held out.

I'm geussing that Tam meant working with Sandhusker... :D :D
