Haven't beaten a ranked team all year. They are a good team but the committee seems to be taking strength of schedule very seriously

I agree. The number of "Quality Wins" & "The Complete Body Of Work" in the entire season counts above all else with the Committee.

Someone should use the computer rankings and make a BCS type poll to see where this years POLL compares to what would have been in the previous BCS years. Would probably be close.

I tend to think that the cream rises to the top every year but the "Strength Of Schedule" will change with the gimme games becoming less normal.

Auburn got left out of the NC game in 2004 because they had the "Citadel" on the schedule that year, they were told.

Same reason Oregon moved above FSU this week. FSU has an incredibly easy schedule this year and was almost beaten a few times.

When you play in a weak conference, you're at a disadvantage. Especially when you schedule patsy's amongst them.

Who cares all that matters is the Gophers made the top 25 woooo hoooooooo.

I'm sure pulling for them against Ohio State. If they win, walk outside after the game.....you may hear me hollering for them Mighty Golden Gophers.

If Nebraska's such an irrelevant team of the past why are there so many posts about them? There are more posts about the Husker's from non husker fans than from husker fans. The past must kinda bother some of you...........

how much love with the huskers get this week??
They are getting a lot of exposure since the Wisconsin game. LOTS!

Unfortunately, the film clips, comments, and write-ups are about Gordon and his 408 yards.

Nebraska is still mediocre, but they don't have Texas to blame for anything. When a good running back breaks a record on you, in 3 quarters, it ain't good and it ain't Texas.

I am entertained by the amount of internet posts saying NU wants back in the big 12, how the grass was not greener and they could OWN the big 12.... no way. in the Big 12 they would be 6 or 7.....
personally, I flat out LOVE seeing NU choke. they ran off to greener pastures, and it bit them in the arse.... even lost their AAU rating in the process

I think the b12 has 4 teams or maybe 6 that would ravage the ten. If a couple sec teams were in the ten, they'd call off the season. That said, the money in the ten looks good, but still most Huskers I know were very reluctant to jump.
