Heifers look good so whats your plan with the bulls? Sell them or retain them due to these high prices.

Your old trick of backing a trailer into a corner with some panels has sure been a useful idea on our outfit the past several years. Sure appreciate you sharing those pictures of how well that works

I think I'll hang on to the bulls this year. We have lots of grass and hay, and keeping them over might be more cost effective than trying to buy new bulls next spring. I did see my bull supplier a few days ago, and told him to give me a figure of what his bulls could be contracted for next spring. He said he would think about it and get back to me.

Glad it works for you, Jake. The trailer trick didn't apply for this particular project, as this pasture is in very rough and sandy country. It's too hilly of an area to get a pickup with trailer into.

Your grass looks good. I was finally able to move to "spring" grass the 1st of August. Rain started late July and has been abundant. Grass is better than it has been in years. I might start being Tallgrass, if 10" is tall! I pulled bulls from heifers last week, and, like you, I hope they are bred. Will pull the rest of the bulls as close to the 20th as I can. I am riding a Ranger, too. Still haven't been horseback since the accident on March 5.
