Question About Pictures

How do yoy post your pictures in this forum? Do you have to have on an internet program or is there someway you can do it from your computer?

The easiest way I've found, is to get a PhotoBucket account (they're free, and really user-friendly), then move the pictures from there, to here.

Then, after you have your account set up, just upload your pictures from your computer, to the album. A good size to upload them is about 300 X 400 pixels.......doesn't take so long to get them copied, and still big enough you can see what they're of well.

After you get your pictures loaded there, just click on the IMG box underneath, that will copy the address, then come over here, and paste that here, where you want it to appear. I always do a preview before submitting, just to make sure I got the right picture and that it's going to work here well.

I use photobucket too. Just seems to work better for me. But you can also use the photo gallery here on ranchers.

Here's the instructions on posting their.

You have to be a Forum Member and be logged in...

1. Go to Photo Gallery and click on "Upload Photos".
2. Click on the first "Browse" button and find the photo file on your hard drive.
3. Enter Tilte and Description if you wish and click the "Upload/Submit" button.
4. Click on the thumbnail to see the larger picture. Right click in the UBBCode: box and choose "Select All". Copy the URL and come back here and Paste it where you want the photo to appear.

That's all!

Another plus for the Photo Gallery... your picture is sized just right for the Forums!
