I want to see if I can do this. So I can brag to the Kids when they call.
Just some sights around the ranch, boring open country.

Pretty country! Awful perty up there in Montana. Just glad I don't have to deal with your winters. :)

EDIT: I really like the color scheme in the last picture. Black bodies and white faces. 8)

Don't sell yourself short. Many of us like that kind of country. There must be something about Montana though, the Big Sky must turn most of the cattle black. :?

Wow, what gorgeous wide-open spaces... with no housing developments in sight! Sounds like a peaceful slice of heaven to me :D . I look forward to more pics from you :D .

Boring NOT!!!!!!!
There are some great pictures there.
Thanks for sharing. Where are you located?

On our trip to Oklahoma from Mt. through SD, Nebraska, Kansas
and Oklahoma we saw just about ALL BLACK CATTLE, nothing else
the whole way. Here in OK there are mixed cattle as there are a lot
of yearling cutting cattle. Interesting...

Several years ago I rode along with a group of policemen/dive rescue fellas from the Port Orchard Washington area hunting up in the northern part of the county.... I showed them around the Rock Creek and Bitter Creek areas just south of the Canuck border (which this looks a lot like)....

One of the fellows was an older gentleman- in his 70's- that was a retired Major on the Washington State Police...Every day he would sit on a high point in awe and look out across the country- sometimes for hours...He just could not believe that you could see that far from anywhere in the world- without seeing a house-or power line- or people...
He wasn't a hunter-never had a license-but for several years he continued to come back with the group- just so he could partake of the scenery and solitude....

Nothing like the wide open. Thanks for the comments. I've travel around a bit, but the best thing about going is, coming back home. No chance of development up here. And no chance of me leaving this country. Oh, by the way we have red cows to, and they do just fine for us. And some good Hereford bulls, we like those baldy cows.

Awesome scenery up in that country! Thanks for posting them! Gcreek saying his place would look like that if it didnt have trees is kinda like me sayin' my place is exactly like hawaii cept with more snow, less beaches, and no pineapples! Here's your sign! :D
