It is raining here now and raining hard. Big smile. We are all caught up baling, too. We'd never turn down a good rain even if we had hay down.

I swathed hay last Wednesday. NOAA weather man said no rain until midnight Thursday so I thought I'd have time to get it baled. Well, it began raining Thur morning so the hay has been wet since then and looks like it will be Wednesday before any sunshine. Cool temps and damp weather but still only 8/10 of an inch. Never turn down rain in July in this country.

I gave up on NOAA weather. I've found www.weatherforyou.com is way more accurate in this country.

You received ONLY eight-tenths? We got nine-tenths out of this and we are doing the dance of joy. This county doesn't need much rain, but we do need some. Getting it at the right time is huge here. This year it came just right. We are thankful.

Hope your hay dries out so you can get it up, Red Barn Angus. It's probably some nice alfalfa, right?

Its been dry here in Oregon, where we get 40" a year, we have not had a drop in July.
