I was thinking the prices would be a bit softer since their is such a large dry area, but it doesn't seem to be so. Yesterday a bull customer sold his 662 lbs heifers for $190/cwt, and today 3 other customers sold some weighing 695 lbs for $175/cwt, 627 lbs for $189/cwt and the season highlight was some 652 lbs girls for $205/cwt. Pretty cool that good genetics sell this way. I guess their is still a lot of optimism out there.
