The Spartans travelled to Rodetown today to play them on Rider Pride Day. Our mayor challenged them to fly our town flag for a week and wear our team jersey for a week if we won. It was pretty tight game 0-0 at the half. Then in the third quarter we traded touchdowns-with two minutes left we picked off a pass. The 'O' line opened up some holes and Ty got a TD with 50 seconds left. Were 3-0 but our last two games are against the provincial champs from '06-Delisle and '07 Unity-should be good stuff. We play Warman just before them too. They had a minute of silence for Ron Lancaster the greatest rider QB ever and a two or three Roughriders were at the game. One kid got the lens of his glasses signed not sure how MOM will like that.
