Road Trip Rerun Pictures--------

Thanks for the fall leaves tour! We didn't get much color here, mostly in small doses like the little thread of red Woodbine climbing through the 'gold for a minute' wild plums by our driveway. The Cottonwoods, which usually have nice yellow fall color, got a rust that caused the leaves to get gray/black and fall a month ago, with very little yellow color. A few Ash trees along the creek had nice yellow for a few days till the wind took them.

Just have the red fall color of the Blue Stem grass on our hillsides now with an occasional bit of red on the occasional shrub up the draws. I live on a fairly small creek bottom, with the hills getting to be two to four hundred feet high (or so I've been told) from a half mile to two miles from my house. The draws start fairly wide at the bottom, and narrow pretty quickly as they go east and west from here. The creek runs sort of south to north, and draws on the east side sort of northwest to south east with side draws on most of them angling off in both directions. Fairly good brush on most of them, and a few trees. We are pretty protective of the draws and creeks grazing short seasons, mostly in spring calving/blizzard seasons. Higher country between the creeks is mostly where the summer and fall pastures are located.

Thanks again for your photo tours. It is fun to see some other country from another persons perspective.

It sure looks like it is. I was standing on a dam with a head gate in it when I took the picture, so its likely its a man made channel.
You have a good eye, I didn't notice it before. You get a gold star, and go to the head of the class. :D :D
