Ty just got hired in a new line of work-beaver packer lol. Him and his buddy made a $100 bucks driving around collecting dead beavers from local trappers to use for bear bait. See you don't always need a college degree to make $50/hr-imagine how good it will look on a resume lol.

Well I guess there's better money packing them than there is skinning them for the fur. I skinned out well over 100 of them one spring and sure didn't make wages. Did allright on the castors though, I think if I was to do it again I'd just take the castors and leave the hair on 'em.

The waterways on this place aren't very handy in a canoe, but it sure makes a nice evening just sitting on the shore waiting for the next one to round the corner. You get to see some pretty interesting things if you just sit still and pay attention for a while.
That was always my favorite thing about spring.... beavering and playoffs. :D
