I had a little field of it many years ago. The cattle really liked the hay. It didn't compete real well with Crested Wheat grass. It did really produce where it caught more snow beside the shelter belt. Funny how I see the odd plant in the road ditch near where the field was but not very much left in the field. Nice that it's not bloating. Might work good as pasture.
