Any body have any success pasting scurs off? Same procedure as horns? or any other ideas to leave a clean looking skull?

That way you won't forget he was a scurred bull when selling progeny.

Will a scurred bull throw horned calves or just scurred calves?

If they are scurs, just cut them off with a sharp knife, you can take a stitch or 2nd you need a clean look. Scurs will probably get horns from a horned cow, scurs from a polled cow with a horned in her pedigree.

Fought the scurs when polled Herefords had to be polled.

We had spoken for a reg. Angus bull calf at one time and when we went to pick him up in the spring, we noticed he had scurs. Seems he was related to Traveler 722, who was known to throw scurs. We declined the bull.
