I'm sure I'm not alone noting our regular Sunday message from Shortgrass is missing. :???: I hope all is well in the Shortgrass household.
Yesterday I was invited to a belated community Christmas celebration/family reunion noon potluck that was put off at the time by a family funeral and winter weather until now. The decorations at the small community building where it was held were still up since before Christmas.
After that event I attended the regular Sat evening church. It' s nice to be able to go two places and only have to clean up once.
The Christmas decorations at church have been put away and Easter is still a ways off.
For the most part right now is a quiet time both on our ranches and in the church. As ranchers we do our daily chores and await the busy calving season coming soon. As recorded in John 1: 29-34 Christians await Easter which brings the arrival of the "Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world". John 1:29
Just some of my thoughts on a cold winter evening.
