It is kind of funny.  The first time I watched him preform must have been the fall of  '23.  He got invited to do a little poetry in Elko.  Not the big show just a Saturday evening deal.  I am sure it was a audition for the big show.  I would say he was nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof except cats in that situation are plum calm compared to him.  The second time I saw him was last spring at Jordan Valley.  He was calm as a cucumber.  Between the two he had done enough shows to get over his earlier jitters.
